i made my first visit to the bnp paribas open at indian wells... 6 days and nights of tennis, in gorgeous -- if not perfect--weather conditions... two or three thousand photos shot with a canon 5d and 70-200mm lens with a 1.4 extender and from time to time a 24mm-70mm... but i also snapped some with my blackberry. the bb doesn't get a lot of love or respect, but the torch i have can deliver some pretty fun shots. not perfect, but fun. i tested it in different light, different distances and circumstances. even at its weakest or "noisiest" i thought the results were sort of charming.
i didn't use any specific filters. the only adjustments were contrast, curves and cropping. i think the torch is especially good at capturing clouds and macro shots in bright light. in any case, i hope you like a few of these. if you click on the photos on the slideshow, you should see notes, comments about each:
